The above is a photo of one of my clematis which was in bloom several weeks ago. I had planned on doing lots of gardening but the weather has been very cool and WET!

So what did I do!!??

Well, I went thrifting, shopped online (nothing new here!), ordered more moo cards, created some mail art, made ATC's, experimented with dyeing threads, started another online class playing with my new embellisher, received ART in the mail, practiced stitching and worked on many new projects! Whew, was I busy.......

Wait, I did MORE!!!!

I painted a new chest of drawers for my studio AND ended up re-organizing in preparation for the upcoming "Where Bloggers Create" - see my sidebar! It took much longer than expected (the last week) but I'm really happy with the results so look forward to sharing this in a couple of weeks.

ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!! LET'S PARTY!

IT'S MY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF BLOGGING!!!!

I started my blog on May 15, 2009 with some trepidation. I've never kept a diary and am generally not much of a writer. I am comfortable with computers in a business environment but had never done anything like constructing a blog. I had spent about a year visiting blogs around the globe and during that time just happened upon Dawn at The Feathered Nest. As many of you know, Dawn is an inspiring artist and avid blogger. So, after correspondence and encouragement from her, I took the plunge. Thank you Dawn for your support and encouragement!

Within a month, I knew I wanted a "look" for my blog but felt I did not have the expertise to create what I wanted. I started researching etsy to find someone to do a makeover. Enter Trudi at Two Dresses Studio who was able to create my vision. Thank you Trudi for your knowledge, expertise and artistic talent!

Here I am a year later! My readership has grown to include many valued friendships around the globe. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who visit and leave comments. Blogging provides me with an endless source of inspiration.
